We are a 3-person DevOps team responsible for developing and maintaining internal service sites that support members of other teams in their daily work. We maintain a close working relationship with the development and DevOps teams, supporting them in their daily tasks and helping them solve internal infrastructure issues.
One of our key responsibilities is to implement and maintain services for DevOps and development teams. We focus on automation, containerization using Kubernetes, and ensuring that our solutions meet the latest security standards.
In addition, every two weeks we hold a MacGyver Day as a team, where everyone has the opportunity to develop their individual goals and projects.
Your daily work will be split across three areas:
- Development (75%) – Work related to the development of an internal services platform based on K8s
- Maintenance (25%) – work related to the maintenance of current internal service infrastructures
What do we expect from you?
- At least 2 years of commercial DevOps or development experience
- Orientation towards microservices-based architecture. Are you familiar with Kubernetes in practice? Great!
- Programming experience in Python, Golang or JavaScript
- Good knowledge of Linux (Debian, RHEL/CentOS) and awareness that Alpine is a very good base for a production Docker container
- Practical experience of cloud environments (Microsoft Azure / OpenStack / Amazon AWS)
- Practical knowledge of Docker – you have built and managed your images
- Knowledge of CI/CD is and the ability to develop it
- Knowledge of at least some of the tools and technologies we use in our work (see below)
- Ability to communicate in English (B1+) and Polish (min. B2)
It will be great if:
- You see working on a complex CI/CD-based internal service cluster as an interesting challenge.
- You are familiar with system and network security – you know the difference between a software firewall and a physical firewall and are able to create new rules
- Pride yourself on your knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
- Have a natural desire to learn and improve your skills
